Arvin E. Wuertz, 62, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 27 in Toledo Hospital. He was born on July 18, 1940 to Arnold and June Wuertz in Indianapolis, Indiana. Arvin was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Local #387 UAW, Woodhaven and Local #47 Advanced Cleaning. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Jana; children, Kevin E. Wuertz, Raymond E. (Tammy), Teresa (Lonnie) Pierce, Todd (Jennifer Stewart) Wuertz; step-mother, Noreen Wuertz; grandchildren, Allysha, Ryan, Marcus, Mariah, Jason, Hollie; twin sister, Pearl (Mike) Hager; sister, Marlene Mitchell; brother, Charles (Esther) Wuertz; step-brother and step-sisters, Mark (Karen) Wuertz, Linda (Wayne) Hoover, Sharon (Louis) Slinker and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Arvin was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William and nephew, William, Jr. Friends may call at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Saturday from 4-9 pm and Sunday from 2-9 pm. where funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 3, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park.
