Baldomera Zapata, 86, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at St. Charles Hospital with her family around her. Baldomera was an avid crafter, who loved to crochet, garden, and shop. Her love for her late husband, Marcelino Zapata, whom she married on November 15, 1950, was unsurmounted, as was her love for children. A breast cancer survivor and the family's rock, she was feisty and friends with all who she met. She had two children, Diana Zapata-Eva and Rene Zapata (Guillermina), two grandchildren, Elexia Eva and David Eva, a step grandchild, Jilian Stahl, and an ex-son-in-law, Keith Eva.
