Barbara Ann Agerter, 71, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Otterbein Perrysburg. She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on March 26, 1951 to Richard and Evelyn (Scherger) Elchert. Barbara lived in Tiffin and New Riegel as a child before moving to Germany. She moved back at 18 and spent over 40 years in Northwood. She worked for many years as a bartender and would later work sales at La-Z-Boy. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She had a passion for painting, her favorite would be her own caricature named, Barbara Tease. She also enjoyed knitting, dancing and her time spent with her bible study group. What she cherished most was her loving grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Heidi (Joe) Liburdi, Holly (Jack) Zaborowski, grandchildren, Zach and Ella Zaborowski; special step-mother, Monica Elchert; siblings, Becky (Don) Judd, Richard (Linda) Elchert, Joe Elchert, Mary (Klaus) Hirsch, Peter Elchert and Michael Elchert. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road Friday, September 16, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The family will also greet friends on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at All Saints Catholic Church, 43 N Perry St. New Riegel, OH 44853, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
