Barbara A. Banks, 85, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 3, 2017. Barbara was born on August 1, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio to Harry S. and Goldie (Thomas) Walters. Barbara was a graduate of Waite High School and Davis Business College. She was married for 64 years to her loving husband, Bertram Banks. Barbara enjoyed a long and successful career as an executive secretary at Libby Owens Ford. Barb was a wonderful and caring woman who touched the lives of many people. Barbara is survived by her sister Betty (Walters) Donnal and several nieces, nephews, and relatives along with many loving and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, William Walters, Harry Walters; and sisters, Katie (Walters) Mc Gee, Ida (Walters) Pritchard, Naomia (Walters) Emmitt, Florence (Walters) Bicker, and Frances (Walters) Romaro. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, July 8, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 pm.
