Barbara M. Cready, 94, of Oregon, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Orchard Villa Retirement Community. She was born in Ithaca, MI to Arthur and Maude (Wilson) Markman. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii for her 70th birthday. Barbara is survived by her children, James, Robert, Judy Hogan (Robert Black) William, and Linda Kerekes; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Helen McIver, and brother, Roland Markman. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Susan Abde, and sisters, Mary Ervin and Nina Alexander. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Tuesday from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
