Barbara R. Decker, 83, of the Genoa Retirement Center and formerly of Rossford, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in St. Charles Hospital. Mrs. Decker was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 27, 1921 to Samuel and Lillie Jones. She was the widow of Harold Wright. Barbara was employed by the Jeep Corp. as a production manager for 30 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of Yondota Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, the TOPS Club at the Navarre Park Senior Center and was a member of the United Auto Workers for over 30 years. Surviving are her children, Cherry Peirce and William (Elaine) Wright; brother, Paul Jones; grandchildren, Jo Ellen Birkenkamp, Tori Kwiatkowski, Danielle Fodor and Kristin Walters; great grandchildren, Dustin Birkenkamp, Lexi, Drew and Owen Fodor, Jacob and Zachary Walters. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clarence Jones, Arnold Wertz , Red Wertz; sister, Alvina Hanna Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Friday, July 22nd from 2 to 7p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Star services will be held on Friday at 6:30 pm. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Barbara's memory can be made to the Society for the Blind or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
