Barbara J. Harris, 76, of Toledo, OH, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2004, in St. Charles Hospital. Barbara was born in Toledo on July 9, 1927, to Burt and Florence (Snyder) Parish. She had been employed as a lunch coordinator at the Hungarian Senior Nutrition Center. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy A.(William) Caldwell; sons, James (Michele) and John A. (Donna Cherry) Brown; sister, Edith Turner; grandchildren, Michelle (Scott) Juhasz, Kim (Chad) Vriezelaar, Jamie (Bobby Jones) Brown, James Dusseau, Nicole Dusseau, Amber Brown, John Brown Jr. and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sharon Lee Brown; sisters, Florence Surprise, Mary Murphy, Ruth Jackson, Eilene Trumbull; brother, James Parish, and grandson, Donald R. Brown. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where visitation will be Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. Interment will be private. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donors choice.
