Barbara A. Lafferty, 75, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at her home. Barbara was born to Emery and Bertha (Fejes) Kolibar December 11, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1963 graduate of Central Catholic High School and received a Bachelor of Education degree from Ohio University in 1967. Barbara was a teacher at St. Stephen's Grade School for 8 years and retired from Toledo Public Schools in 2011. Her memberships included: Alpha Delta Phi Sorority and St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed gardening, traveling with her son to New York City & Indianapolis, and expressing her thoughts on her favorite social media outlets. Her greatest love was her family whom she loved dearly. Barbara is survived by her children, Mark (Holly) Lafferty, Amy (Joseph) Herman, and Dana Lafferty; grandchildren, Alex, Audrey and grandson who will join us shortly; and brother, Emery Kolibar. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private funeral services will be held with interment in Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Toledo Humane Society.
