Barbara F. Nichols, 87, of Millbury, OH passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Barbara was born on October 10, 1930 to Thomas and Martha (Reht) Fisher. Barbara met her husband at Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky. After wedding, they resided in Allen Park and Toledo until moving to Millbury in 1962. Barbara enjoyed quilting and playing the piano. Barbara is survived by her children, Martha (Roger) Willey and Donald Nichols; grandchildren, Roger Willey II, Caitlyn Nichols, John Willey, Jacob Willey and Thomas Nichols; and siblings, Thomas (Linda) Fisher and Ellen Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; parents; and sister, Marie Cotton. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday April 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home Monday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
