Barbara Ann Ruthsatz, 74 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Orchard Villa Rehabilitation and Nursing. Barbara Ann was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 21, 1949 to Henry and Barbara (Tokar) Westenkirchner, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Genoa High School and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She was retired from Lucas County Job and Family Services. Barb had lived at Charles Crest Apartments prior to moving to Orchard Villa.

Barb loved all creatures great and small. Her caring heart and immense love for animals lead her to provide food for many stray and feral cats.

Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, John and Anne Westenkirchner.

Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery.
