Barbara J. Uhler, 76, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Barb was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 12, 1937 to Howard and Ethel (Butler) Felkner. Barb was a 1955 graduate of Woodward High School. On February 15, 1958, she married Jack Uhler. Barb worked as daycare coordinator at First St. John Lutheran Church Day School for over 30 years. She was an avid reader, knitter, enjoyed playing bunco, and having dinner with family and friends. A devoted sports fan, Barb enjoyed cheering on the UT Rockets, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Green Bay Packers. Barb was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church for over forty years, where she was active with the Altar Guild. Barb is survived by her children, Jody (Rick) Bronowski and Michael Uhler; granddaughter, Sierra Bronowski; sister, Beverly Schwartz; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; and sister, Patricia Urbanski. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 2:00 pm '" 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
