Benancia G. Bazan, 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away at Heartland of Oregon on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, with her loving daughters by her side.. Nancy was born on April 1, 1920 to Jose and Begnina (Nava) Garcia. She was employed as a nurses aid at Fountain Circle and Hill Haven Nursing Homes in California working fulltime at both jobs for 30 years.   Surviving are her daughters, Maria (Pablo) Garza, Rosemary (Victor) Bowlick; sisters, Benita Barrera, Luciana Gomez; brothers, Cirilo, Raymond and Jesse Garcia; 19 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren and many other relatives.  Nancys family would like to thank Eddie and Betty for the friendship and love they gave to Nancy over the past years.  They would also like to thank aunt Lea and Steve for making her last days joyous and to  the staff and nurses at Heartland of Oregon, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, especially Sherry and Stacey for the love and care they provided.  A memorial service will be held at Corpus Christi Church in Corona, California.
