Bernadine M. Corns, 80, of Oregon passed away Monday, November 7, 2005 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. Bernadine was born in Oregon on March 12, 1925 to Lester and Gertrude ( Hennessee) Cowles. Bernadine graduated from Waite H.S. in 1944 and was then employed as an office worker with LOF for 10 years. She was a member of Eastminister Presbyterian Church, Dendarah Court and the Ladies Shrine. She was a past member of Yondota Chapter No. 317 O.E.S.. Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Clyde; daughter, Darla Steedley; son, David (Janis) Corns; sister, Joyce (Bob) Quigg; grandchildren, David Jr. and Lisa Corns, Robert Jr. and Sean Steedley; great-grandchildren, Joshua Oswald Jr., Robert III, Lauren and Lillian Steedley and Philip Baum IV; sister-in-law, Janet Baker; brother-in-laws, William (Delores) and Leon (Aileen) Corns;. Bernadine was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 from 2-5 & 6-9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery.
