Bernice M."Busia" Diefenbach, 91, of Toledo, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio October 27, 1930 passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. A dedicated fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Busia also enjoyed polka dancing, and listening to Elvis. She enjoyed roller skating and was the social butterfly of her neighborhood. Surviving are her children, Linda Narges and Ricky (Carol) Diefenbach; grandchildren, Keith (Tricia) Narges, Michelle Lairson, Robin Lind, Scott Diefenbach, Brandi(Eric) Hickman, Renee (Mike) Lizcano, and Elijah (Stella) Diefenbach; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Rose (Dennis) Pachura; along with many loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Leocadia; sister, Marion Hreno; and great-grandson, Bradley Lairson. Services are to remain private. Bernice's family wishes to thank the staff of the Goerlich Center for their loving care given to Bernice over the past five years.
