Berry Franklin Cox, 54, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. Berry was born May 28, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Celia (McCallum) Cox. Berry was a cab driver for many years with Black & White Cab of Toledo. He is survived by his mother, Celia; siblings, Sidney Smith, Charlotte (Jeff) Kelly, Janet D. (Rodney Amerson, Danny (Holly) Cox, and James (Sarah) Cox; 16 nieces 7 nephews; 23 great-nieces & nephews and host of friends who knew Berry as "Uncle B". Preceded in death by his father and sister, Beverly Cox. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Friday, January 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery.
