Bertha S. Rahrs, 91, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2003 at the Goerlich Center. Bertha was born in Toledo on October 11, 1911 to George and Lydia (Applegate) Rahrs and was a retired civil service secretary for the Rossford Army Depot. She had a love for animals. Surviving are nieces, Lydia Smith of Tiffin, OH and Joanne Sayen of Genoa, OH; nephews, Emery Rahrs of Texas and Chester Rahrs; and several great nieces and nephews. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chester, Emery and Harold Rahrs and sister, Daisy Schutt. Visitation will be held in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
