Bessie B. "Becky" Hillard, 91, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Elmwood, Ohio on February 25, 1925 to Irvin and Nettie (Custer) Burr. Bessie worked as a cashier for Woolworth's Department Store retiring in 1992. She was a member of East Toledo Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Michael of Randolph, MA, Elizabeth Flewallen of Sante Fe, TN; brother, Wayne Burr; sisters, Shirley Rendon, and Billie Mae Madison; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Bessie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; daughters, Mitzi Howe and Rhonda McCarthy; brother, James Burr; sister, Velma Hieshman. Family and friends may visit at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon Chapel on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of her funeral service at 2:00 PM.
