Bethane Partin, 86, of Genoa Ohio and formerly of Toledo, died on March 10, 2009 at the Riverview Health Care Campus in Oak Harbor. Beth was born on November 10, 1922 in Pineville KY, the son of the late Evan and Louisa Partin. For 63 years he was the beloved husband of Betty Jane (Truby) Partin whom he married on January 10, 1946. Beth was a World War II veteran serving in Company C 1277th Engineer Combat Battalion. After military service he worked at Sun Oil Refinery in Toledo Ohio, retiring in 1982. Beth was active in CCYC serving on the Board of Directors. Beth enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, bowling, and was an avid card player. He lived life to the fullest. Beth's grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty; sons, Leonard (Glenda), Partin of Port Clinton, OH and Larry (Sharon) Partin of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Leisa K. Partin of Port Clinton, OH; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Lou Ann and Lilly Ann; 4 brothers, Edd Partin, Robert L. Partin, William Partin and Luther "Luke" Partin, and 5 sisters, Mary Lee Fuson, Verda Webb, Ruby Francis Partin, Maggie Ellen Moore and Rose Zella Hansen. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13 from 2 - 8 pm at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury Ohio where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:30 am. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery, Walbridge Ohio. Those giving a memorial contribution may wish to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Trinity United Methodist Church of Genoa.
