Betty J. Bauer, 95, passed away peacefully Monday, January 30, 2023 at Otterbein of Pemberville. Betty was born November 10, 1927 in Cleveland Ohio to James and Julia (Vober) Vopata. On September 4, 1948, she married Edmund Bauer. Along with her husband, Betty was a member of the Model A Restorers Club and Faith United Methodist Church, Luckey, Ohio. Betty is survived by her children Sandra Bauer and Bill (Patti)Bauer; and 2 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband; and 9 siblings. Private burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmstead, Ohio. Betty's family wishes to thank the staff of Otterbein of Pemberville and Ashanti Hospice for the loving care given to Betty.
