Betty J. Boothby, 76, formerly of Curtice, OH, passed away peacefully and joined her husband, Raymond, on February 26, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on July 3, 1928, to Leo and Juanita (Hudson) Chatlain. Betty enjoyed boating, canoeing, and riding her motorcycle around Anchor Pointe Marina and Cooley Canal. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Sandra (Michael) Bartko and James (Michele) Boothby; grandchildren, Scott (Kelly), Aaron, and Zac Bartko, Angela (Tony) Hale, Brad Howard, Josh and Reed Boothby; great-grandchildren, Tony Bartko and Ryan Jones, Payton and Avery Hale. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
