Betty L. Burrows, 65, of Genoa, OH passed away July 13, 2005 in her home after a courageous 19 year battle with cancer. She was born in Mansfield, OH on June 4, 1940 to Kenneth and Emma (Scribner) Spring. Betty was employed by Guardian Industries, Genoa Bank and was co-owner with her husband of Gentec Computers. Mrs. Burrows was also a lifetime member of East Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Surviving is her loving husband of 25 years, Clyde; children, Richard (Shelia), Dennis (Anna) and Mark (Beth) Counterman, Michelle (Greg) Wiciak, Tammy and Karen Burrows; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, L.T. and Duane Spring; sisters, Tina Picard and Pauline Bockelman and special nephew, Terry Spring. Betty is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave. on Friday, July 15, 2005 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at East Christian Church, Saturday at 11:00 a.m. where family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. Expressions of sympathy in Betty's memory can be made to East Christian Church; the American Cancer Society or Northwest Ohio Hospice.
