Betty L. Cormany, 81, of Oregon, OH passed away September 26, 2005 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Weston, WV on January 25, 1924 to Burl David and Lottie (Queen) Cayton. Betty was employed as an executive secretary for Owens Corning and Hunt Wesson Foods for many years, retiring in 1969. At one time, she was a resident of the Louisiana House in Perrysburg, where she was association president and editor for the newspaper. The "light of her life" was the love and pride Betty had for her children and grandchildren and her special cat "Casey".
Surviving are her son, Richard Cormany; daughter, Terri (Daniel) Mahl; brother, Darrell Cayton; sister, Carolynn Papulias; grandchildren, Steven Lonchyna, Jared Richardson, Tyler, Griffin and Elizabeth Cormany, along with her special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday, September 30, 2005 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 1, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Betty's memory can be made to Orchard Villa. The family would like to thank the staff at Orchard Villa for their loving care during Betty's stay.
