Betty J. Geldine, 87, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Mercy Health St. Charles Hospital. Betty was born in Trowbridge, Ohio on April 27, 1929 to William and Leona (Graham) Geldine. For 22 years, Betty was a letter carrier for the United States Post Office, retiring in 1990. Betty was an avid card player and enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty is survived by her brother-in-law, Donald Epke along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Geldine; sisters, Helen Epke and Frances Lenz; 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, (east of I-280) on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
