Betty Irene Heidebrink, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She was born on September 6, 1932, in Tiffin, Ohio, to William and Gladys (Rupert) Zimmerman. On December 1, 1951, Betty married the love of her life, Robert Heidebrink. Together, they operated the Open Pantry Carryout in South Toledo for many years. Betty was a longtime and faithful member of both St. Mark Lutheran Church in Toledo and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Maumee. She was a devoted fan of the Toledo Mud Hens, Detroit Tigers, and loved traveling with Robert. Betty cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.

Surviving are her children, Glenda (Donald) Allman, Rick (Judy) Heidebrink, David (Penny Smith) Heidebrink; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; along with many loving family members. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10:00 am until funeral service at 2:00 pm.
