Obituary

Betty Jean King Betty Jean King, 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away November 11, 2007 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Kentucky on May 20, 1930 to Homer and Nettie (Dunn) Cooper. Betty had been employed as an aide at Manor Care and in the housekeeping department at Dr. Leonard Bucks office. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and spending time on Lake Erie. Surviving are her children, John (Cheryl) Welsh, Joseph (Trisha) Keaton, Brian (Gail) Keaton, James W.(Janine) Keaton; 6 step children; sister, Carol Lawrence; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Billy Keaton, Howard Luffy and Fielding King; siblings, Peggy Donovan, James, Jack and Robert Cooper. Friends and family may call at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, OH on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Those considering an expression of sympathy in Bettys memory are asked to consider her family.
