Obituary

Betty Jane Lintner, 83, passed away on September 2, 2010. She was born on March 8, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to Stephen and Catherine (Balogh) Lintner. Betty Jane worked as a cashier at Petrie'™s for 40 plus years. She was a life-long resident of the Birmingham neighborhood and was a Lay Distributor at her parish, St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church. Betty Jane is survived by her sister-in-law, Mabel Bridgeman; nieces and nephews, Kathleen Francis, Bill Carroll, Carol, John, Terre, Tim, and Jim Lintner, Penny Nafziger, Elaine Black, Joyce Teopas, Polly Schafer; great nieces and nephews; the Ed Burns Family; and a host of many friends. Betty Jane was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Theresa Carroll; brothers, John, Stephen, and Andrew Lintner; nephew, Stephen Lintner. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. in the Kinsey Funeral Home, 2001 Consaul St., where the recitation of the Rosary will be held at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on at 9:45 am and proceed to St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Betty Jane'™s memory are asked to consider St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church.
