Betty J. Lutomski-Hipkiss, 89, of Toledo, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010, at Lutheran Home at Toledo. Betty was born in Toledo, Ohio to Clarence and Amelia (Barrie) Stahl. Betty worked for Toledo Public Schools as a cafeteria worker for many years. She was past president of VFW Ladies Auxiliary #3265. Betty is survived by her daughter, Carol McEwen; grandchildren, Beth (Kurt) Ackerman, Julie (Greg) Powell, and Herbert K. Arend. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Frank Lutomski and Walter Hipkiss. A memorial mass will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church March 20, 2010 at 10:00 am. Inurnment will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
