Betty Olejniczak, 78, of Birmingham East Toledo passed away Sunday, January 12, 2003 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo on January 30, 1924 to John and Mary (Sendi) Krompak. Betty was a lifetime member of St. Stephen Church, a member of the Rosary Altar Society, Daughters of Isabela, and the Hungarian Club of Toledo. Surviving are her loving children, Jeanne (Dan) Mackin and Raymond; brothers, Andrew (Betty) and Stephen (Mary) Krompak; grandchildren, Raymond, Danny and Giuliano and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; sisters, Margaret and Helen Eckstein and brothers, John and Frank. Visitation will be held at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul St. on Tuesday, January 14, 2003 from 4 until 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 until 9 pm where the Rosary will be recited at 4 pm. Funeral services will begin on Thursday in the funeral home at 9:45 am and proceed to St. Stephen Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.
