Betty Jane Partin, 92, of Genoa Ohio, and formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her family. Betty was born August 28, 1923 in Tiffin Ohio the daughter of Eula Jacob and Ethel Dora Truby. On January 10, 1946 she married the love of her life Bethane Partin. They raised three children; Leonard, Larry, and Leisa. In 1984, Betty retired from Libbey Glass where she was a glassworker for over twenty years. Betty was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Genoa and member of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary. She loved boating, fishing, bowling, dancing, and was an avid card player. Betty enjoyed cooking and was quick to offer a meal or drink. Her true passion and light of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Leonard (Glenda) Partin, Larry (Sharon) Partin; daughter, Leisa K. Partin; grandchildren, Matthew, Anne, Kevin, Corey, Katie, & Elizabeth; 14 well-loved great grandchildren; sisters, Nina (Robert) Johnson and Nora Lee (Ray) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughters, Lou Ann and Lilly Ann; brothers Dalton (Lillian) Truby, Norman (Grace) Truby, Walter (Loretta) Truby; sisters, Henrietta (George) Gray, and Lillian (Arthur) Petz.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280 on Tuesday, June 28th from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm.
