Betty Lou (Stotz) Ratliff of Walbridge, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Betty was born on July 7, 1938 in a log cabin in Lindsey, Ohio to parents, Robert Stotz Sr. and Bernita (Sebring) Stotz.

Betty grew up mostly in Northwood, Ohio attending Lark Elementary and Olney High School graduating in 1956. She married her high school sweetheart, James Ratliff, Sr. and together they had three children. She worked at Ohio Bell as a telephone operator before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She retired from The Jobst Institute in Toledo where she used her sewing skills working in various departments making burn garments and other medical related items. She was very proud of her job. She enjoyed many years at the Senior Center in Walbridge. She loved her little dog Lila who also loved her.

Betty is survived by daughter; Tina Deehr (Mike), sons; James Ratliff, Jr. and Craig Ratliff, grandchildren; Kathrina Jorgensen (Matt), Chelsey Show (Dave), Mike Deehr, Jr. (Nicole), Amanda Baer (Nick), Laura Beauregard (Ryan), Abigail Deehr, Rachel Ratliff and Adam Ratliff (Sarah), 13 great-grandchildren, sisters; Judy Johnson and Debra Foreman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter-in-law; Maria Ratliff, brother; Robert Stotz, Jr., brother-in-laws Edgar Johnson and Robert Foreman, Sr.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 12:00 pm-6:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio. Visitation will continue on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery with a luncheon to follow. Memorial contributions in Betty's name may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Road, Toledo, Ohio.
