Obituary

Bettie J. Roderick Fisher, 82, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Keota OK, on July 20, 1923 to John and Buena (Scott) Rigney. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Roderick and Roland "Sam" Fisher. Mrs. Fisher had been employed at both the Woolworth and Tiedtke's Department Stores before her retirement in 1995. Surviving are her sons, Douglas (Gilda) and Andrew Roderick; daughters, Sandra (Tom) Hamrick and Cheryl (Ed) Roderick-Taylor; brother, William Rigney; sisters, Mary Mercer and Polly Cox; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Lloyd Rigney; sisters, Nita Wisdom and Bertie Mae Hurst; daughter-in-law, Donna Roderick. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, from 2 - 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Bettie's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Visitation: Visitation Times Sunday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Oregon Chapel
