Betty June Smith, 90, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in Elmore, Ohio on June 22, 1924 to Frederick and Myrtle (Goodeman) Miller. On February 11, 1944, she married Harold Smith. Betty was a lifelong member of Elmore Church of God and enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk Show. Her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren who brought her much joy. Betty is survived by her children, Gary (Diane) Smith, Daniel Smith, Diane Davis, Mark (Janet) Smith and Michael Smith; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; brother, George (Phyllis) Miller; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brother, Junior Miller; and infant son, Terry Smith. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
