Betty Walinski 75, of Northwood, Ohio passed away in her home on Friday, February 11, 2011. Betty was born in Toledo on April 17, 1935 to Felix and Josephine (Dominiak) Sekulski. She was a 1953 graduate of Libbey High School and worked for Fred C. Hall until she married her husband Robert who preceded in death in 1993. Betty enjoyed traveling with her husband and went to the western United States, Hawaii and several Norwegian countries. They made yearly trips to Las Vegas where they both enjoyed 'œpulling the slots'. She was an expert knitter and made blankets for her nieces'™ weddings and eventually for the births of their children. Surviving are her brother, Gerald (Pat) Sekulski; nieces, Sheryl (Kevin) O'™Shea, Karen (Phil) Harris, Kim (Al) Horton, Pam (Dennis) Harris and 9 great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
