Obituary

Beverly Koevenig, 91, was called home by our heavenly Father on March 13, 2022. She was surrounded by family. Beverly was born on June 16, 1930 in Millbury, Ohio to William and Edith Ramp. During her children's school years, she was involved in school activities, PTA, Mother's Club and was also a band parent. After her children were older, Beverly worked in the Toledo Public School system for 10 years. She volunteered at the Friends of the Library for many years, and enjoyed reading and finding books for herself, her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. Beverly attended church every Sunday while she was able, and enjoyed her time spent with the Crafters group and Ladies Aid. She could be seen helping in the kitchen at all of the church dinners. She was known as the "jello lady". Beverly enjoyed many hobbies. She could always be found in her garden on summer days. She loved to bake and made the best pumpkin pies ever! She enjoyed sewing, and made many Halloween costumes over the years. Recently, she could be found enjoying game nights with family, and playing Dominoes…just ask them about how she set up her trains! She was also known for her quick wit and sarcasm, and kept us laughing on many days. Beverly is survived by her sons Brian (Kathy) and granddaughter Kristel (Brian); Craig (Sue) and grandsons Jordan (great-granddaughter Alaina) and Justin; and daughter Kaye. She is also survived by nieces Kelly Jockett (John) and great-nephew Noah; Kim and Daneen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul; and brother Bill. In accordance with her wishes, there will be a private service and burial. Please consider donations to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Toledo Lucas County Friends of the Library, or donor's choice. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Bay Park Hospital. The arrangements are being handled by Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home in Oregon, Ohio. Beverly was well-loved. She asked for so little but gave so much. She was devoted to everyone and everything she loved, but expected so little in return. She will be greatly missed!
