Billy R. Blankenship, 76, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at his home. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 8, 1939 to Ross and Cecil (Jones) Blankenship. On June 3, 1960 he married Wilma Hartman. For over 30 years, Bill worked in the furniture department at The Lion Store. Bill's true passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wilma; children, Robert Blankenship, Marie Mikolajczyk, Terry (Terri) Blankenship, and Dianne Blankenship; grandchildren, Joshua Will, Shawna Will, Cody Will, Jamie Blankenship, and Jakob Blankenship; along with many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
