Blanche Evelyn Bonnough of Walbridge, OH passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the age of 89 in Madison, Georgia. She was born October 30, 1921 to the late William and Evalene (Reitzel) Swartz of Walbridge. Blanche was a graduate of Lake High School and worked many years for the Commodore Perry Hotel, prior to retirement. For over 70 years, Blanche was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Blanche was a loving caring and compassionate person, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all and made everyone welcome whenever they came to her home, regardless if she knew them or not. She will be greatly missed by everyone, especially by family. Blanche was a loving mother of four children Sheryl (Mike) Friedman, Clayton (Rosemary), Darrell (Beverly) and Daniel (Tammy) Bonnough; 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Fern Bringman (Dick), Mary Nicodemus (Norbert). Blanche is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Clayton Bonnough of 50 years and her brother, William Swartz. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, August 26th from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday in the funeral home with interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park next to her husband Victor.
