Blanche E. Murrey, 81, went to be with her Lord and became one of his angels on January 8, 2016 at the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born on August 15, 1934 to Ray and Evelyn (McNair) Robeson. She grew up in Oregon, Ohio attending Clay High School. Blanche worked for the White Tower Restaurants before starting at St. Charles Hospital Dietary Dept. as a cook, retiring after 20 years. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, and talking on the phone with close friends. She was a member of the Church of the Living Epistles in Toledo where she made great friends which she leaves to mourn her loss.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and George Robeson. Surviving are her children, Tom Rogers of Toledo, Debra (Keith) Lemke of Perrysburg, Tim Rogers of Toledo, and Kay (Rick) Montgomery of Genoa; special sister, Gladys Jennings of Maumee; brother, Don Robeson of Yuma, AZ; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
