Blodwyn 'œHoney' Beals, 85, passed away at Otterbein Portage Valley on March 16, 2011. She was born in Detroit, MI on May 19, 1925 to Jonathan and Hester (Willis) Davies. Honey retired as the Registrar for Hinsdale South High School in IL. Honey loved to laugh. She enjoyed playing the organ, making soup and baking breads to share. Most of all she enjoyed baking cookies for her grandchildren and being with her family. Honey was a member of Hope In Christ Community Church, Perrysburg, where she was a very active member. Surviving are her husband, Charles Fletcher Beals; children, Judy (Denny)Miller and MaryLee (Tim) Spann; grandchildren, Michael (Peggi) Miller, David (Laura) Miller, Jennifer (Mark) Hyatt, JP (Melinda) Miller and Jaime (Spencer) Stewart and 5 great grandchildren. Honey was preceded in death by her parents, and brother. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery.
