Bobbi L. (Quackenbush) Mancillas, 51, graced this world with her presence until her death on August 7, 2012. She was born on May 19, 1961 to the late Robert and Irma (Hobberchalk) Quackenbush in Toledo OH. After graduating from Robert S. Rogers High School in 1979, she worked for the Ohio Bureau of Workers'™ Compensation for 17 years. Her career began as a policy underwriter and advanced to Assistant District Director, Service Office Manager, and NW Ohio Regional Risk Manager. When her position as Regional Risk Manager was eliminated, she chose to establish her own Workers'™ Compensation Consulting Service rather than relocate with the Ohio BWC. For the past 16 years she was the President and Chief Operations Officer of Mancillas & Clark, serving Ohio employers with her expertise at reducing Workers'™ Compensation costs, claims management, and other BWC account issues.
As a community servant, Bobbi was a Paul Harris Fellow of the Oregon-Northwood Rotary Club where for many years she was a club officer and board member. During the late 1990'™s, she was actively involved with the Women'™s Entrepreneurial Network (WEN) where she also served on the board of directors as well as the board President. Last, but certainly not least was her 'œnot very anonymous' role in many aspects of A.A. With nearly 15 years of sobriety she was a shining example of how the program works and gave unselfishly to further the cause.
Left to cherish her memory are loving husband Gilbert; step-daughters, Gina (Mike)Madick and Tina; the light of her life, granddaughter, Allie Madick; sisters, Sherie Nowak, Darla (Chris Stanfa) Northrop, and Lisa (Mike) Clark; sisters-in-laws'™, Paula Mancillas, Yolanda (Ramiro) Vallejo; nephews, Lance and Daniel (Kerri) Northrop, Bob Nowak, and Vincent Vallejo; nieces, Veronica and Valerie Vallejo; great nephew, Dontonio; special aunt, uncle, and cousin, Nancy, Harold, and Debbie Johnson.
