Brenda C. Allen, 55, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo on July 11, 1955 to Charles and Katie (Bean) Crowder Sr. Brenda was a 1974 graduate of Waite High School. She had last been employed at K-Mart in floor sales until 2006. Before that, Brenda had worked at Rossford Lanes as a bartender and at St. Charles Hospital in the dietary department. Surviving are her loving husband of 33 years, Robert Allen Sr.; mother, Katie Crowder; daughter, Michelle Allen; sons, Robert Allen Jr. (Angela Frazier) and Brandon Scott Allen; grandchildren, Brittany Johns, Cameron Johns, Kaleb Allen and Bethany Allen; brothers, Charles Jr. and Mike (Tracy) Crowder; sisters, Linda Boras and Janie McVicker. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sr. and brother, Robert Allen Crowder. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with interment following in Clay Township Cemetery.
