Brenda Kay Cowell Brenda Cowell, 56, of Martin, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. Brenda was born on May 2, 1959 to Noah and Dollie (Luce) Gross. She was a 1977 Clay High School graduate and worked at Alan Miller Jewelers. Brenda enjoyed family trips to the Smokey Mountains, going to the casino with her family, and playing bunco. Her fondest memories were spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, David; children, Vicki (Chris) Lammie, Carey (Richard) Henderson, David Cowell, Benjamin (Amanda) Cowell; mother, Dollie Gross; siblings, Marty (Linda) Gross, Noah (Debbie) Gross, Diane (Ed) Spradlin, Marilyn (Alan) Miller and Danny Gross; grandchildren, Carl (Tiffany) Markowski, Amiee (Jon) Dale, Branden Lammie, Mikayla (William) King; great-grandchildren (who called her "granny" which she loved), Kira Mauder, Rilee Mauder, Cameron King and Maddyx Dale; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 1-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 11:00 am.
