Bruce N. Wohlgamuth, 84, of Curtice, Ohio passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on May 4th 2025 at Bay Park Hospital. Bruce was born September 15, 1940 in Willoughby, Ohio to Ivo and Gertrude (Frieman) Wohlgamuth. Bruce was a professional truck driver for Chrysler Corporation, until retiring several years ago. In his spare time, Bruce loved being outdoors, golfing, taking rides on his cherished "57 Chevy look-alike" golf cart and watching his favorite team, Kansas City Chiefs, play football. Bruce served his country proudly in the US Army, during the Vietnam War. He excelled in the Army, moving up in the ranks.
Surviving in his family are his wife, Winnie Wohlgamuth; sons, Jeff (Jean) and Andy (Joyce) Wohlgamuth; grandchildren, Sean, Kayla (Phillip), Cody (Autumn), Connor (McKenna), Madison (Dawson) and Emily (Khris); and great grandchildren, Isabel, Madlyn, Easten, Kalvin, Maisyn, Karter and Kora; Bruce is also leaving behind a twin sister, Barb Beair and his four legged companion "Chief the Cat"
Visitation for family and friends will take place at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Monday, May 12, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Elliston Cemetery. Any financial donations the family would like directed to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or Jerusalem Township Fire and Rescue.
