Burke W. Schultz, 84, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Mr. Schultz was born on October 31, 1920, in Dobre, W. Virginia, to Charles and Florence (Williams) Schultz. Before his retirement, he was employed as a nurse for the North Shore Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Surviving are his wife, Mae H. Schultz; daughters, Barbara (Virgil) Lay of Akron, Georgia Shinaver of Oregon, Judy (David) Pearson of Lakeland, FL, Jacquie Semerdjian of Oregon; son, Theodore (Dolores) Perrine; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Sidney, Bernard and Foster Schultz, and sister, Betty Forms.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue, where visitation will begin on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and continue until funeral services begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
