Camden L. Rogers, 91, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.
He was born in Palmer, West Virginia, on December 10, 1920 to Heywood and Gertrude (Salisbury) Rogers, one of eight brothers and sisters. In 1959, he married Katherine (Duris) Lawecki for 43 years before her passing in 2002. Camden was a veteran of the US Army, serving during World War II. He was employed with Nickle Plate Railroad for over 30 years. Camden will be remembered for his strong work ethic, along with his passion for hunting and fishing.
Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
