Candace C. Ramsey, 62, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at Addison Heights Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Candace was born on December 18, 1952 to Richard and Clara (Peters) Comer. After graduating high school, Candace married the love of her life, John Ramsey on November 11, 1970. She worked at Foodtown in the Deli department for 20 years before retiring. She was a long time member of Harvest Temple Apostolic Church. Candace enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very caring and loving person who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, John; children, John (Christina) Ramsey II, James (Juanita) Ramsey; siblings, Richard, James, Alice, Jerry; grandchildren, Celina, Angelica, Ceira, Jessica, Christopher, Alexandria and Vanessa Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Robert Jr., Jose; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Robert and David. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
