KEATON Candice A. 10/3/1947- 5/12/2012 Generous, creative, selfless, and thoughtful is how Candy will be remembered. The daughter of Edward and Helen (Holley) Wallace, she grew up in Toledo with her twin sister, Sandy (Bill) Phillis and brother Eric (Donna) Wallace. During her years at Start High School, she met her sweetheart, Ronald E. Keaton, at Park Lane Bowling Alley and Rudys Hot Dog on Sylvania Ave. In 1965, Ron and Candy moved to Genoa and raised their four children, Ronald II, Jacquelyn (Larry) Lehman, Diann (Mario) Duran, and Jennifer (Dan) Novotney. Their second son, Thomas, sadly died in 1967. Their grandchildren, Allyssa, Matthew, Robert, Holley, Trey, Alex, Daniel, Lauren, Jake, Olivia, and Emma brought them endless entertainment and great joy. In 2006 after 42 years of marriage, her beloved husband died. The years missing Ron were spent with family and her best friend Sherry (John) Eden. Candy enjoyed summers at Clarks Lake, making crafts, listening to Elvis records, and raising her children. Her laughter, wit, and love of the holidays will be forever missed. Friends and family may visit Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 2:00-9:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel 1111 Woodville Rd. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012, in the funeral home with interment following in Clay Township Cemetery.
