Canen J. Smith, 21, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident on November 15, 2014. He was born on June 10, 1993 to Todd Smith and Deanna Scott. He graduated from Clay High School in the class of 2011. Canen was an artistic, talented and humble young man that will be deeply missed by all. In his early high school years he enjoyed BMX biking and then his true passion for power lifting began. He belonged to the International Powerlifting Federation where he received 4 world records in May of 2013. Canen took great pride in his gardening skills and being co-founder of the T-Town Vapors Club. Surviving is his mother, Deanna (Steve) Szydlowski; father, Todd (Connie Tilson) Smith; grandparents, Bernard (Bernadette) Scott, Kathy (John) Hatfield; uncle, Shane (Lisa) Smith; half-sister, Erica Van Hoosen; and half-brother, Canyon Smith. Canen was preceded in death by his granfather, Clifford Smith; uncles, Troy Scott and Clifford M. Smith.
