Carl C. Ackerman Jr., 64, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Promedica Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 18, 1956 to Carl Sr. and Virginia (Halbach) Ackerman. He graduated from Clay High School and served in the U.S. Marines. Carl also was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church. Surviving is his daughter, Taylor Ackerman; siblings, Alan Ackerman, Jenny Sauder, Susan Hay and Christine Bennett. Carl was preceded in death by his parents. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or services at this time. The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date.
