Carl A. Porter, 57, of Toledo, OH passed away on January 30, 2008, at Arbors At Waterville. He was born in Toledo on October 24, 1950, to Harry and Una (Siewert) Porter. Carl was a graduate of Waite High School and employed at various places as a maintenance man. Carl is survived by his daughter, Julie Mae Porter; sisters, Sally Porter (Charles), Patsy (Wayne) Lindsay and Susan (John) Van Slyke; brothers, Gerald, James (Darlene) and Harry (Shirley) Porter and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. on Saturday, February 2, 2008, from 2 p.m. until the funeral service time at 6 pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Restlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorial contributions in Carl's name may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
