Carl Lester Ware of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at home with his son. Carl was born on April 2, 1953, in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Alta Eva (Payne) and Richard "Dick" Woods.

Surviving are his daughters, Charity (Jason) May, Candy (William) TenEyck, Jasman Johnson; sons, Carl (Jessica) Ware, Chris Wingard; grandchildren, Ashley, Stephen (Courtney) Paul, Skylyn Ware (Josh), Alison (Dakota) Sparks, William TenEyck Jr., Rachel, Erica, Nicole, Larry, Michael Cutshall, Leilana, Orlando, Carliena, Eliana Ware, Jewel, Monique, Halen Zacharias, Adyn Nottage, Alexia, Dylan, Damien, Dominick, Zyane, Elena, Mackensie Wingard; great-grandsons, Taevin Paul, Cohen Veres; great-granddaughters, Alayah Gomez, Kinsley Elam; plus 7 great-grandchildren from daughter Jasman; siblings, Blas Jr. (Kathy) Pena, Steve (Chris) Pena, Joseph Pena, Daniel Pena, Louis Pena, Neoma Ware, Ana (Lyle) O'Dell; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alta (Payne) and Blas Pena, Richard "Dick" Woods; wife, Carol (Lorenzen) Ware; daughter, Crystal Ware; in-laws, Caroline and Carl Lorenzen; brothers, Juan Pena and Manual Pena.

Dad the joy you brought us will never end and one day we will be together again! Though we miss you we know you are in a better place, pain free, and with your wife, Carol, and your baby girl, Crystal, again. Thank you for being a great Dad and we love you!

According to Carl's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
